The hands, the heart, and the devotion behind the work.

Art has always been, for me, a form of devotion before it is a form of expression. Every line drawn in gold, every colour laid down in reverence, is an offering — a small act of transformation shared between the hand, the divine, and whoever meets the work.
My practice draws from the temples, deities, mandalas, and stories of the Hindu tradition — not to illustrate them from a distance, but to sit inside their stillness and let it move through the work. Art by Amit is the home for that practice: a gallery, a sanctum for mindfulness, and a small library of books written along the way.
Thank you for being here. May something in this space meet something quiet in you.

Devotional pieces rooted in Hindu iconography, colour, and sacred geometry.
Each work begins in stillness — a practice of presence before pigment.
The hope that what moved through the artist might move through you too.
